Japan, blade 14th ct., koshirae 19th ct.
Klinge: L. 68,6 cm
Length of the blade 68.6 cm, shinogi zukuri, suguha hamon, mokume hada, komaru boshi, very good state of polish, nakago: suriage, mei: Rai Kuni, shirasaya and tsunagi, gold-plated habaki. Sayagaki with signature and kaô of Satô Kanzan with attribution to Rai Kunitsugu and the nengo Kaireki (1326-1329). Complete itomaki no tachi koshirae with tsuba in inome-ni aoi-gata shape, all mounts with kiri-mon on shakudo ishime ground and gilt rim, menuki in shape of three kiri-mon, light brown binding over brocade, obitori with the same binding and a sageo, saya: kiri-mon in takamaki-e on a nashiji ground.

Certificate of the NBTHK, dated Showa 43 (1968), with attribution to Rai Kunitsugu and classification as juyo (important).
